A Major Step In A Different Direction

Taking a step in a totally different direction is exciting and sometimes unnerving. But, at times taking that step is often necessary and called for by circumstances beyond our control.
In this case, those circumstances were self directed and the step was taken with a lot of thinking and research.
For several months now, I’ve been writing about the need for a change in the MLM industry. I’ve written about how the industry has been in a decline for the last few decades and has produced a 97% failure rate, retention rates that result in lost opportunities and broken promises.
All to often, network marketers jump to new opportunities in the hope that ‘this time’ it will be different. Perhaps this new business model, or compensation plan, will be the one that works, only to find out that it is just a re-hash of the same, hackneyed model with a new face.
With the advent of auto-ship, the industry found a way to make a great deal of money for the companies. But, when we consider that the average person in Network Marketing only sponsors 2 people and stays in only 90 days, we can see that the average person isn’t going to make any money. Someone is, but it isn’t the average distributor.
A home based business is most people’s chance to get out of the rat race of working for someone else. Network Marketing has a great promise. But, it must keep that promise. The way it has been doing business does not cut it.
There have been a few new innovative companies that have found a way to change the model and have re-invented the old model of actually making money by selling a product of service to those outside the business. This works and is what the MLM industry is going to have to move to if it is to remain stable.
Zeek Rewards has done just that and has brought a new idea to the table - revenue sharing. Revenue that is produced by a service and sale of products outside of the company. By sharing the revenue produced from a Penny Auction site with affiliates who advertise the auction site, they make it possible for the average person to find financial freedom without having to be a super recruiter. Because people can see themselves being successful with a minimum of effort, they stick it out and get excited about earning money.
This is the next generation of Network Marketing.
