If it is free, it is better than costing. Well, duh! Who doesn’t like free? If anyone had a choice between paying for something and getting it free, only the fool would elect to pay.
So, is that true of MLM as well? Perhaps not. I say that because I think there is a widespread notion that if there is no cost for a business, then that business is not viable.
In fact, the real question should be, how effective will my efforts be in a business that has no cost to join or no monthly cost.
It seems to make sense that if a MLM business has no cost, in that it doesn’t rely on the members to fund all the commissions, it will have a better yearly retention, be easier to duplicate and build a team, and the members or associates will have a better shot at success.

 | | In my experience the best network marketing companies always have products that are retailed in small quantities with a portion of the retail sales being passed up the network. I am not a fan of autoship where the members must buy a product to earn commissions. |
