When doing research on affiliate marketing I found a plethora of articles with tips and tricks, but most were inundated with their own affiliate links. I found I trusted the articles with 3-5 links built into the content, as opposed to those which broke up every paragraph with a list of obviously paid links.
Watch out for "minimum rates." Some companies will charge you a monthly fee, but that fee may increase if they do not get the amount of buyers from your website agreed upon in your contract. Read carefully to find out what these fees are, as they are sometimes not clearly listed.
You do not have to know how to design a website to succeed in affiliate marketing. If you are a good writer, you have a great chance in making a success out of affiliate marketing. All that you need to know is how to promote products and you are on your way to making some money.
