Do You Take Rejection Personally?

I know when I started my business I did.  What about you?

Being rejected just means that person doesn’t have the same vision as you do.

Let’s face it, we all deal with rejection at some point in our lives.  However,  it’s never fun to deal with rejection in your business.

Taking rejection personally is the worst thing you can do.

When you are rejected, it can feel like a blow to your self-esteem — and even to your dreams. If you give in to those feelings, you can lose your way.

Plenty of successful entrepreneurs had setbacks and experienced rejection. Rejection is a sign you’ve put yourself out there. You can’t succeed if you don’t take a few risks.

Daymond John, the founder of FUBU was rejected by 20 banks when he was trying to get his business off the ground.  However, rejection never stopped him.  That 21st bank decided to take a chance on him and now he is multi-millionaire, a company that is worth billions and the co-founder of Shark Tanks.

You’re only unsuccessful if you give up. Sure, go out and feel bad for yourself for an evening. However, once you’re done with your short pity party, it’s time to get back to work building a successful business.

Remember don’t let rejection in your business define you.  A “NO” turned backward is “ON”!  Keep On moving forward until you get your YES! Don’t allow the rejection to stop you moving forward and trying again. Although it can be hard, see it as a way to make you stronger and more focused. And don’t allow it to define you.

Be bless everyone!
