The Reality of Attraction Marketing - Part 2

Yesterday we discussed what Attraction Marketing is, the two commitments Internet Marketers need to make before they can begin attracting people to them, and how I do attraction marketing, and that I recommend that you do the same. We ended yesterday with the question "how long will it take you to learn enough to begin teaching other people how to make money online?" And here is my answer: it will take you the rest of your life to learn everything there is to know about making money online but you can begin teaching tomorrow.
Well, if you are not making money online you may not believe you can start teaching other people how to make money online tomorrow. Here, let me tell you the easy way to make money online:
1. Decide exactly, precisely what you want to accomplish.
2. Convince yourself deep down inside that you really believe that you can accomplish whatever you wrote down in step.
3. Define your action plan and start taking action. In our case, the actions will be writing blog posts about the power of attraction marketing and how your readers can use attraction marketing to accomplish their financial goals.
Now, you don't have to fully believe before you start sharing blog posts. If you are having trouble believing you can have what you want, perhaps your want is too large. Here is an example:
My first description of what I wanted was $1,000,000 in the bank. So when I started trying to really believe I could have $1,000,000 I could not figure out what I could do to have a million dollars in the bank. Eventually I figured out that if I could just recruit 4 "serious" people into my business opportunity I could "eventually" have way more than $1,000,000.
My business grows based on the concept of self-multiplying referrals. Yes, I did believe that. And I really believed if I did that I could have as much money as I wanted.
Now I needed an action plan. There are a lot of ways you can market online, just remember you are going to have to teach your downline how to do it too! So, if you have the money you can run adwords ads to recruit 4 other people who are willing to spend the money required to find 4 more people, etc. But, that is probably going to cost quite a bit of money.
If you use safelists you will eventually find 4 "serious" people but you will have to spend several hours a day reading other people's emails (to get credits) and sending out your own emails. It will take a long time to fine 4 other people who are willing to perform the same level of effort for 2 or 3 years. If you have an ad budget you can speed the process up a bit.
Don't think safelist marketing works? Have you heard of the 10K challenge? They are a team of people who built an organization of over 10,000 people in less than 6 months by advertising (through safelists) they could teach you how to build an income of $10K/month working as little as 35 minutes a day. So, yes, safelists work but here is the trick. The team who started the 10K challenge had been doing safelist marketing for years before they started the challenge. They already had built up large teams of people underneath them and it was fairly easy for them to convince those people to sign up for the 10K challenge. It will take you years to find the kind of people you are looking for.
And there are many other ways to build a downline. But it always has the issue of, if it's free marketing it is going to take you a long time to achieve your goals because you need to find other people who are willing to do the same level of effort. That is why I say you should assume it will take 2 or 3 years to complete your initial set of goals.
My want was to recruit 4 "serious" people into my business. Now my want is to educate as many people as I possibly can about how to use attraction marketing to make as much money as they want online!
And I firmly believe deep down inside that by helping a lot of people learn how to make money online, even if most of them do not join me in my business, I can eventually have way more than $1,000,000 in the bank.
And I take action by going to YouTube every day and looking as motivational videos. My goal is to share 1 motivational video on my blog every day. Along the way I get ideas for blog posts that work with the video I choose for that day. Don't think you can write a blog post every day? Well get over it. Just start and force yourself do it every day.....it will get easier. Your first couple of blog posts may not be great but you will get better over time. If you ever look back and decide a blog post wasn't very good.....delete it.
