We know the reason most (95%) of internet marketers fail to make money because they expect to find an opportunity that will make them rich beyond their wildest dreams, over night, with little effort on their part.
But, all great achievements take time. And making enough money online to replace the income from your JOB would be considered a great achievement.
In the video Max suggests that all successes are made up of a series of smaller successes. In internet marketing our smaller successes are few and far between. That is why it is difficult to "keep the faith" long enough to be successful.
I always tell people to break their goals down into smaller bite sized pieces. One you achieve the first bite sized piece, go after the new slightly larger piece. I also tell complete beginners they should have a three year plan in place to develop their business.
I actually started with a 2 year plan, broken down into 4 x 6 months sections. By the end of my first six months I wanted to be earning at least $500/month. But the end of my second six months I wanted to be earning at least $1,000/month. By the end of the third six months I wanted to be earning at least $2,000/month. And, by the end of the fourth six months I wanted to be earning at least $4,000/month.
That's not to say I wouldn't try to beat those goals but I felt those goals were realistic and achievable. Combined with my other income an extra $4,000/month would give my family a wonderful lifestyle and I was willing to work like a dog to make that happen for two years. Plus, it will continue growing after two years.
There is no easy answer to making money online. Making money online is simple but it is not easy.
And we know that all great achievements take time!
