Moving From a Physical Product Store or an Even Mix

Experimenting and Testing is a non-stop chore for all of us. If something is not working, as in returning sales. It is logical to add or delete what you think will make more income for you. This is not always easy, because we can become emotionally attached to our present product or offer or pet project. It's just the way we are, but it can be costing you progress.

I think a good plan is to keep that which you are doing, however add a new  product or offer. Promise, it won't be at all painful. Your identity is often tied to your brand, it will not be diluted if you add a similar offer that fits with what you are now doing. I will use my example, Pecan Springs Hiking.

My store is a dropshipping store with products related to (duhh) Hiking, Camping, the Outdoors. They are shipped from China via Aliexpress. Negative point is the long shipping times, 2 - 3 weeks. It can be a sales killer in these days of Amazon Prime's 2 day instant gratification. What to do?

I am slowly adding Survival, Outdoor, DIY digital downloads. Instant gratification. The testing is ongoing, point is I am willing to move away from my physical dropshipping into a different arena. Instant Downloads, still in my genre. I would not try to sell tennis shoes on my site, hiking boots are more appropriate. Bottom line, we all must test, but within our paramaters.
