This is one of the ice breakers I use to talk to people about my business. Would it be OK?
When you are out and about on your day. Maybe at a restaurant, at work, in the grocery store etc... Listen to people and what they are talking about. Maybe you have a co-worker that is talking about struggling to make ends meet. Maybe you have a friend that is having a problem with cash flow.
If we listen to people that we come in contact with everyday, they give us clues as to what is going on in their life. Now days there are a lot of people out of work and may not have even thought of working from home or don't know where to start. This is where we can help.
If I am listening to someone sharing what is going on in their life and it would be appropriate for me to enter the conversation. I would say something like this....
Lets say this person is sharing that they would like to earn extra money or that they find themselves with not enough money to cover the bills. I might say 'Would you like to do something about it?' Or 'Would it be OK If I share how I work from home and make extra money?'
If we listen to people we have many opportunity to share our business and grow our business. We can help people get what they want, thus, getting what we want. I don't know about you, but, I just loving helping people.
I hope you got something from this blog to help you grow your business.
Wishing each and everyone of you much success!
Now go out and touch someones life and listen to what they say.

 | | Building a relationship must start with a good conversation. A good conversation must start by having a good listing skill. I like this! |
| | | | | I just wanted to thank you all for reading my blog and for the nice comments. I am listening to you. Wishing you all success! |
| | | | | | | | | Very true Don, I really like the way you explained this. So many people just want to shove something in front of you without really listening. A TL&B for you my friend. |
| | | | | This is so true. I was in a restaurant with my wife when we overhead a couple who were in dispute with their tenants over mold in the apartment. We were able to extend a helping hand, answer their questions and provide guidance. Eventually our assessment helped everyone involved settle their dispute. Listening is so important. |
| | | | | Listening is the key to communication...good blog post.
Thanks for sharing, success! |
| | | | | Thanks for sharing your thoughts Don, I agree 100%, if we listen we will find many opportunities where we may be of service to someone at the same time as helping ourselves with our business. TB&L my friend |
