 | | Don, Great insight and perspective on marketing. Excellent post. By the way, thanks for your IBO spirit. |
| |
 | | Very well put Don, you got me thinking. |
| |
 | | I've spend $5 on lotto tickets a week just because! Sounds like a better profit stream here for sure...Thanks for sharing. |

 | | I agree great info. U know living in this society its like let the chips fall where they may. Its not a good attitude to have but many people have been manipulated when it comes to the matter of the mind/decision making. |
| |
 | | Good information Don. It is so important that we put good information in our minds in order to get the outcomes we want. We can't control what others say but we can control how we process it. |
| |
 | | If you listen to what people want then you can start asking questions and finding out what they would like to do. The most important part of conversation is listening. |
| |
 | | Thank you for sharing this opportunity with all of us. Don you are awesome. Shared on the Ibotoolbox members page on facebook liked too. |
| |
 | | Thank you Don for your great insights on internet marketing perspective. Nevertheless, it is the way of thinking which drives us towards success or failure. Great blog article - Way to go Don. Two thumbs up and off to all my networks. |
| |
 | | those sound like a mentors words |
| |
 | | What a fabulous perspective Don! I find myself amazed at what people will frivolously spend their money on with absolutely no possibility of return on investment, yet balk when presented with an opportunity to grow their money. We have become nation of spenders on "stuff" instead of a nation of savers for our future betterment. To your continued prosperity and success! Go IBO! |
| |
 | | Let's program ourselves to succeed. This blog will be a very helpul tool to avoid failure by changing out mind set. |
| |
 | | No one wants to be told what to do. We prefer to make our own decisions. In our business our first priority is to inform and let people make their own decision. Well said, Don. |
| |
 | | I love your definition of marketing Don. You did a good job explaining how to change the process of being resistant to "sales" to willing to listen. |
| |
 | | I get what you're saying, completely. I've experienced those same feelings towards others wanting to sale me something. I'm one of those who like to go for what I'm looking for, get honest and intelligent conversation and answers, then do what I have to do to make it all come around. |
| |
 | | Good info for those still shopping around Don. Some are confused having heard many pitches and some are waiting for something for nothing. You've made it easy for some to make a decision. |

| |
 | | Great blog, Don ..you are so right about people being skeptical about any opportunity. They immediately shy away from online marketing, MLM, Networker ....any of those terms. I have to admit I was like that, too. But, I do not shut the door on opportunity anymore. Thanks for posting! |
| |
 | | With many of the traffic exchanges you have 6 to 10 seconds to capture the viewers attention. The keyword here is "Capture their attention." When talking to prospective clients this is what you have to do. It is done by finding their wants and needs, then letting them know how your product or service will fill it. Their is no sales pitch involved. The close is the most important part. Listening is the most important factor. |
| |
 | | Excellent commentary and approach to marketing Don....thank you for sharing..have a good one;) |
| |
 | | Excellent blog Don. getting over the "pitch" syndrome is hard to do sometimes, but the real key in marketing is like you say, determining wants and needs. thanks for sharing. |
| |
 | | Your first sentence makes me wince Don, I used to be one of those hard -nosed sales people - thank goodness I've learnt from it !
In the earlier days ( a lot earlier !), a good salesman never let up - you went for the jugular, and even a negative was a buying sign !
It's a different industry now, people become involved because they 'want' to,
and dare I say - I also rate QLXchange .
Thanks for posting Don |
| |
 | | You're so right Don, it's not always about being 'sold to', but 'being informed of', however I personally have seen a lot of good programs and affordable ones too and sometimes I don't want to do the work involved or it just doesn't 'fit' me in the moment. Then to have affordable that doesn't require a lot of work and includes learning and earning in the bargain, i feel gives me the opportunity to make more informed decisions! Thanks for post! | | Great Information Don!I was in the 92% that hated to be Sold. And I had a bad image of the word Salesman. But that has changed, thank goodness. You are showing people something they need. A lot of people complain about not having enough income. But when you offer solutions it sounds too much like work to them. They would rather continue complaining. But a few will see the solution and take it. And they won't know what you have unless you tell them. |
| |
 | | It a great article Don,sometimes people are so skeptical that they miss the boat. The $5 cup of coffee only lasts a short time but that $5 investment could last a lifetime. |
| |
 | | Very good Don
The words of caution are always welcome.

 | | Thanks for sharing, Don. Great blog. T&L |
| |
 | | Don, excellent blog. You hit the nail on the head. It is hard to get through that natural reluctance. |
| |
 | | That is true and a partof human nature. I don't like sales calls on the phone at all but they must be very productive because they are dramatically increasing. I am from old-school and I want the facts in my hand black and white before I feel confident. Sharing your Good post, have a great marketing day Don |
| |
 | | Absolutely Correct, Don! I echo Bruce's Comments Below. |
| |
 | | Your are right, it's about showing why they need something, not just telling them they need it. |
| |
 | | Great blog Don as always! thanks for sharing and I will too! |
| |
 | | Once again straight and to the point Don. Quality blog my friend thanks for sharing. T&L for you. |
| |
 | | Hi Don - great blog and so true. It's as if we have to be "convinced" to buy rather than accepting that it is what we need. Too many opportunities pass us by because of our "resistance to believe" rather than "investing in opportunity".
We have no problems spending $5 on a coffee but balk at paying that amount for a possible ling term income stream!!! Surely we can all afford to redirect the coffee money. |
| |
 | | Good morning Don
Thank you for some very insightful information. Sometimes we do look at the glass half empty instead of half full, so we already have a close mind even before we hear what someone or something is offering us. Keep up the good work. Continued success to you. |
| |
 | | Isnt it true about "being sold" we need those one on one connections. Good job with your blog here. |
