I’m sure there has been a time for you when you couldn’t sleep whether it was because you were excited. or you had too much caffeine to drink or even if it was because you have too much stress. There is many reasons for not getting the sleep when you really need it. The thing is not getting your sleep is one thing that really holds you back from doing a great job at where you work or if you have a business even. I know myself that if I don’t get enough sleep…at least 7 hours of sleep that I just can’t focus on things and it just makes it really hard to think about things clearly. Not only that but I’m not my usual bubbly self…I’m like a zombie that isn’t a happy camper lol! So I was thinking about sleep and I wanted to share this with you all from my own experiences to help you get more sleep. The reason I wanted to share this is because I care about all of you and I want you to have a good life filled with happiness, joy and plenty of sleep zzzzz. Don’t get me wrong there is probably gonna be some nights that you hardly won’t get sleep but more then likely it will be due to what’s on your mind or if your really excited about something. Those are the only ones I know of that is hard to get to sleep and there’s not much you can do about it. I’ve pretty much tried everything and still couldn’t get to sleep but maybe this is just me I don’t know! Anyway, let’s get to the good stuff so you can try them and see what works for you! I would suggest to just try one for a couple of nights and if you don’t see any good results with it then try a different one for several days. I’m no expert in sleeping all I know is what I’ve tried and I know they work. If it works for me it might work for you as well! Even if you have a mild insomnia it can be cured or be treated by good sleeping habits! If you have severe insomnia (not being able to function during the day)I suggest going to see a doctor to get something to help you. So below I’m going to go over a few things that can help you sleep at night or whenever you sleep. *Chamomile tea (drink this in the evening it helps you sleep) *Good diet and exercise I love to take walks so if you take a walk before going to bed it can help! *No caffeine in the evenings…I’ve heard you shouldn’t have alcohol either but I find alcohol actually makes me sleep like a baby. *Keep your bedroom cool and dark (this always helps me unless it’s too cool lol) *Have a regular sleep schedule I’m always going to sleep around the same time every night…maybe not right at the dot lol but at least within an hour or two! *If your hungry at bedtime have a banana, a small bowl of cereal, a granola bar with some milk or yogurt (milk and bananas help with sleeping) *do things that are relaxing right before going to bed like taking a bath or shower, reading a book with a low light while relaxing in a chair or in bed, deep breathing exercises or even de-clutter your mind. Write a list of what you have achieved during the day, or tick off your achievements from a ‘to do list’. So there is a few things you can try to do to help you sleep better! I wanted to share another great article I found about people having trouble sleeping so click here to check it out. Let me know if they work for you by commenting below and if you know of anything that can help anyone that needs help with sleeping then make sure you comment below. Thanks so much for reading my blog and I look forward to tomorrow’s blog. Take care everyone and happy sleeping!
