The Energising Focus

Of A

Powerful No.

https://davidnalderman.com/2016/11/07/the-powerful-no/

It is not easy to say no.

It’s such a powerful word,

and it can bring so much freedom to our lives,

but only if we know how to use it.

https://www.psychologytoday.com/articles/201311/the-power-no

It's a hidden power because it is both easily

misunderstood and difficult to engage.

It's likely to be unaware of the surge of strength

we draw from No

because it is easily confused

with negativity.

Negativity

expresses itself in a whining perfectionism,

a petulant discontent,

or

risk-averse naysaying.

Negativity is an ongoing attitude,

No

is a moment of clear choice.

It is an affirmation of self

and

implicitly acknowledges personal responsibility.

The strength

we draw from saying No is

that it underscores

the following hard truth of maturity:

the buck stops here.

Sarri Gilman

says :

"boundaries unleash emotions".

It follows, then, that we need boundary skills

and Sarri suggests that we should

1/
Increase self-care.

2/
Build a web of resources.

3/
Focus on
choosing responsibilities and letting go of others.

We are all experiencing our life journey

and continually setting boundaries.

we should learn to say no

and benefit from

less stress

and

being profoundly in touch

with our purpose.

As internet marketers

we can be extremely busy

but I hope that you can find the time

to listen to Sarri's video.

I found it to be very rewarding;

I am sure you will also

I would like to hear your thoughts on

The Energising Focus

Of A

Powerful No.
