The New Year is here so I welcome and embrace 2012. Sometimes we take it for granted that the first three months (the first quarter of the year) is very important for everyone. Students need to return to school to ensure they perform well during the second half of the academic year. Business owners need to ensure that they set their marketing/advertising to a top notch level. Avid exercise enthusiasts need to go to the gym to work out so they will not become complacent and turn back to their old eating habits and old non-existent exercise habits.
We are co-creators of our lifestyle so we have to take full 100% responsibility for what we say and do. I have listed the dreaded "if statements" that are in the book Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. Study the list and be sure that when you find yourself declaring the below statements, stop, refocus and have the intent to steer clear from "if statements.
IF I didn’t have a wife and family . . .
IF I had enough “pull” . . .
IF I had money . . .
IF I had a good education . . .
IF I could get a job . . .
IF I had good health . . .
IF I only had time . . .
IF times were better . . .
IF other people understood me . . .
IF conditions around me were only different . . .

IF I had not been born under the wrong star . . .
IF it were not true that “what is to be will be” . . .
IF I did not have to work so hard . . .
IF I hadn’t lost my money . . .
IF I lived in a different neighborhood . . .
IF I didn’t have a “past” . . .
IF I only had a business of my own . . .
IF other people would only listen to me . . .
The GREATEST IF statement of them all is If I had the courage to see myself as I really am, I would find out what is wrong with me, and correct it, then I might have a chance to profit by my mistakes and learn something from the experience of others, for I know that there is something WRONG with me, or I would now be where I WOULD HAVE BEEN IF I had spent more time analyzing my weaknesses, and less time building alibis to cover them.
Enough said. Whatever you want to accomplish when you believe all things are positive. It is a great idea to get in touch with any distractions and get rid of those distractions and behaviors.
