I asked the question "Do you have a 100% matching bonus waiting for you?" because that is what I asked myself when I decided that I am only going to make what I am going to make at work. Its the same for you if you work as well. Whether you are salary or hourly its all the same. Salary is where you get a set amount for the year and you receive 26 paychecks in the year (this is if you get paid bi-weekly). Hourly is where you get paid per hour and if you work past your 8 hour shift you get over time, something like time and a half.
Overtime use to be so enticing to me until I figured out that I was actually selling my families time with overtime. I was earning a little bit more extra money but I really did not have any time to spend it or enjoy it with family because I was at work lol.
I am not bashing those who work because I work everyday. I am talking about "are you expecting a 100% matching bonus anytime soon"?
I love work and I love people who have a good work ethic. However, would you be willing to find out how you can position yourself to start expecting a 100% matching bonus. Do you know anyone who works over time and gets a 100% matching bonus? Lets look at time and a half for a quick second and lets look at double time or what I like to call it 100% matching bonus.
In time and a half if you are earning $10 per hour you will earn $10 + half of $10 which = 5 so you will be earning $15 per hour when you work overtime.
With 100% matching bonus, if you have 6 people on your team and each person earned $45 which =$270 YOU will earn $270 thus you will have earned a 100% matching bonus and you do not have to work any extra hours.
