I'm about to share with you a BIG secret to MASSIVE sales success.
By the way, you do know you're in sales, right?
Online, offline... it don't matter... if you're in the business of getting other people to buy or join or say YES to what you have to offer... you are in sales.
Just checking to make sure we're on the same page here.
And for the sake of keeping it simple... when I day SALES, I'm talking about all the above, because recruiting is a sales process too... makes sense?
Ok, so one of the big reasons most people lose lots of potential sales... and it's also true of MANY businesses is they simply don't follow up.
The more complex a sale is, the more follow up is required.
As a matter of fact, recruiting others is a very complex sale.
Why?
Because you're not just asking someone to spend a few bucks.
You're asking them to commit time, money, and energy into a new endeavor.
And to move someone to do that, they need lots of good reasons, besides the fact that you can make lots of money
One of these reasons... and I'd say it's one of the MAIN reasons is TRUST.
If you've ever been in personal sales, you know face to face stuff, then you probably know that without the person LIKING and TRUSTING you, there's no possible way they'll end up buying anything.
Online, we don't have the luxury to spend time and develop the kind of relationship you can face to face, UNLESS...
... you can expose them to what you have over, and over, and OVER.
And you do it with a blog and an email.
Think about the person you're trying to recruit.
They are probably skeptical, and have every right to be.
They're probably cautious and unconsciously asking themselves...
- Can I trust this person?
- Is it someone that has my best interest at heart or just trying to sell me something?
- Do they know what they're talking about?
And other similar questions, all floating around in their head... and UNTIL you can satisfy them... it's gonna be a tough sell.
You see, what I discovered in my years of face to face selling, is that you don't necessarily have to be the most polished sales person that can answer any objection and all that...
When you WIN their trust... it's all downhill from there.
Which is why you need a kick-a$$ blog to do all the heavy lifting for you.
With enough exposure to you, your ideas and the value you bring to the table...
... your prospects are automatically sold on what you've got.
That is what good blogging is all about.
And a skill worth mastering.

 | | | | | | The information you shared here is dead on. You have to be authentic with people to get them to trust you. |
