It’s easy to look good on twitter and I can sum it up in two words…….Stand Out!
What is the number one problem on Twitter? Everybody is selling something. Standing out is not hard to do because all you have to do is the opposite of what everybody and their downline is doing.
How many times have you’ve seen somebody’s opportunity in their profile? And another catchy line when they follow you back pithcing the same opportunity?
Here are some great tips on How to Look Good on Twitter:
Your profile
Make it look attractive by writing something that relates to people. State where you live and where you’ve previously lived if applicable. If you have children, list how many you have. State the industry you’re in and not your company. List your blog address or YouTube channel if you don’t have a blog. Make sure you put a smiling picture, this in my opinion is not an option.
All of these ways will pull prospects and others closer to you since you are leaving them curious about who you are and almost forcing them to click on your link. This really works great if you have 1000+ followers.
Provide Value
This is not nearly hard as people make it. Everybody in this industry, especially when starting out, complain that they have no value to offer. Providing value is not have a great website or blog, hundreds of YouTube videos uploaded, or thousands of facebook fans and Twitter followers. I’m not saying that’s not important but those are Attracor Factors, I’m talking about value.
Do you want to know what value is? Do you want to know how to provide value? It’s really simple….you ready? Solve other people’s problems. That’s it….nothing more.
No excuses that you don’t know how to solve other peoples problems because you have a ton of your own. Guess what? You just figured out a way to provide value if you think that way.
I guarantee that what ever problems you have in network marketing, someone else is experiencing the same. All you have to do is ask yourself “At this moment, what am I having trouble with?” Research it, solve it, write a post about it, Tweet it.
Share Content
Find other valuable, related content and share with others. This shows that you are willing to help others without pitching your opportunity. It also shows that you do what it takes to stay in the loop and ahead of the game in the industry.
Show You’re Human
Fun pictures and success quotes are great Attractor Factors to use in Tweets. Since these are different you’re forcing people to retweet and guess what….you now are gaining exposure since that tweet will be broadcasted to their following. It’s a safe bet that it’ll be retweeted again. Humans are copycats by nature and if they see someone has retweeted your message, they’ll do it too.
Interact
If you see a Tweet that you want to engage in, reply to it and start a conversation or join an existing one. But make sure you’re engaging in the conversation and not just spamming. Also use the @username to give a shout out to anyone that has given you value.
The name of the game here is to be Attractive. Never sell, spam or be negative. Leave curiosity about who you are so they’ll head to your blog where they can really see what your about and the opportunity you have to enrich their lives.
Everybody on Twitter is pushing their products and if you do the same then you’ll be buried in with them. You want to pull them towards you by providing value and leaving them thirsty for more and wondering who the heck you are. That’s what Attraction Marketing is all about.
