It's a hard thing for us to admit,but we are all limited by the dimensions of our financial wigwam.In other words,our lives are completely defined by our ability to control the wealth available to us.
For most of us wealth means money,which many people will say is the "root of all evil".However,the correct wording came from the New Testament as "For the love of money is the root of all evil".Timothy 6:10
Therefore,even though we are often characterized and judged by our financial ability,we are not evil,unless we only want money because we love it.It only means that being denied access to wealth usually creates a hardship.The current economic depression has completely dried up the credit markets for average people,including home-based business owners and those operating any small business.
Not only is it close to impossible to obtain a home mortgage,but the problem has spilled over into auto purchases and other big-ticket items.An individual's credit record has become the ,most important determinant of whether any kind of credit is available and what terms of that credit may be,particularly the interest rate charged.
Lenders use the credit score,or FICO score,.....a number resulting from manipulations of the data in someone's credit report......WE ARE ALL in some home - based,or small,business of some kind,...and the ability to obtain credit often means survival for us.
