Overzealous Game Warden?

One morning the husband returns after several hours of fishing and decides to take a nap.

Although not familiar with the lake, the wife decides to take the boat out. She motors out a short distance, anchors, and reads her book.

Along comes a Game Warden in his boat. He pulls up alongside the woman and says, "Good morning, Ma'am. What are you doing?"

"Reading a book," she replies. "Isn't that obvious?"

"You're in a Restricted Fishing Area," he informs her.

"I'm sorry, officer, but I'm not fishing. I'm reading."

"Yes, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment. I'll have to take you in and write you up."

"If you do that, I'll have to charge you with assault," says the woman.

"But I haven't even touched you," says the game warden.

"That's true, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment."

"Have a nice day ma'am," and he left.

Another Significant IM Technique

Lets talk about solo ads and how internet marketers can use them as an effective internet marketing advertising tool.

Solo Ads are a marketing advertising technique under the "direct response" marketing umbrella.

Bascially email marketing , but you're renting another marketer's list.

Direct Response means you garner an immediate measurable response from the marketing technique.

Solo Ads send the right message,to the right niche, at the optimum time.

It's the most targeted advertising technique, save PPC.

I'll qualify that statement, as the solo email vendor must have a highly responsive list in your niche.

Solo ads are the most effective way to build your own personal list by placing ads on other niche marketers' newsletters.

You are basically renting space from them as they send to their already-built same-niche email list.

You pay a set amount,at Udimi it's anywhere between 35 and 70 dollars for 100 clicks, in return you get back opt-ins or leads.

There are three specific principal considerations you must carefully consider before you send a solo ad.

The list to which you're sending your offer.

Your specific offer, you must offer something of value for free.

Your headline and copy, which includes the subject line and email body.

Get that right and you'll get plenty of optins.

Keep in mind, that sales are possible, but the proper use of solo ads is to acquire optins.

A solo ad is an email, and it is sent out to a list that you have rented, and guaranteed a certain number of clicks.

The members of the list are in your niche, and are interested in products relative to your niche's products and services.

The best way to vet a list and vendor is to communicate with them before you buy.

This is why solo ads,if done correctly are highly targeted ads, almost as targeted as the PPC internet marketing technique.

Udimi is a huge solo ads marketplace.

I'm a bit partial to Udimi, as it's administered very well;in addition you can become an affiliate and offer Udimi to clients and give them five dollars incentive for signing up under you.

But the advertising is excellent and there is tremendous incentivization by the vendors to perform.

The reason,of course,is that they get comments and ratings after a solo ad is run. They want positive ratings.

Some vendors, not all,it's not an Udimi rule, to refund your payments.

The reason is that Udimi grays out negative comments, if the vendor returns the money from the solo ad purchase.

Another way to look at solo ads is that you are buying leads that are highly interested in your products and services.

Udimi's admin is actually responsive, you can talk with them, and you can talk with the vendors who are online.

It has filters set up so that bad addressses are filters immediately.

Most the time this information is added by the vendor :how often are names added to the list and how often is the list updated.

You'll need to know how many names and email addresses are on the list.

The most important part,of course, is the products and services to which the newsletter is directed.

Go to direct Squeeze Page

First, you want to mail to a responsive list and have prospects go directly to your squeeze page.

You send only to a squeeze page, that offers something of value for free.

It's certainly feasible to use a sales funnel.

Recall, you must orient your sales funnel to the front-end product or service, this is a low cost item.

Once you've accomplished this conversion and collected the lead, lead becomes a bona fide customer.

After becoming a customer they're amenable to your higher-priced back-end products and/or services.

You need to be careful that they are established customers before you can introduce them to a higher back end product.

Remember the solo ad, however, is primarily used to get leads.

The solo ad is probably the fastest and most effective way to build your own personal email marketing list.

Recall, the less expensive way to build an email list is SEO. But SEO takes significant time.

Once a person buys a product or service, their chances of buying similar products and services are very high.

At Udimi the vendors' lists are filtered and vetted, so they take a lot of the work out of the solo ad process.

People may hear your words, but they feel your attitude. John C. Maxwell
