love chocolate

A tour bus driver drives with a bus full of seniors down a highway, when he is tapped on his shoulder by a little old lady. She offers him a handful of peanuts, which he gratefully munches up.

After approximately 15 minutes, she taps him on his shoulder again and she hands him another handful of peanuts. She repeats this gesture about eight times.

At the ninth time he asks the little old lady why they do not eat the peanuts themselves, whereupon she replies that it is not possible because of their old teeth, they are not able to chew them.

"Why do you buy them then?" he asks puzzled, whereupon the old lady answers,

"We just love the chocolate around them."

Know Your Subject Matter

IBOtoolbox is all about writing marketing articles that can initially seem like seem challenging ,if you haven't written as a SBO , IMer,or affiliate.

The good thing is that the burden can be overcome, not only following the writing rules, but also by making it very natural extension of yourself.

Think like this I'm not intimidated, I'm going to learn the basics, and let it flow, just like you're talking to your best friend.

If you went to College you'd written research papers, if not, no big deal, but you must do the research for the subject matter, so you know what you're talking about.

Of course, the experience level at IBO is not only deep, our marketers are very IM savvy.

But article writing or writing for your blog is much like writing the research paper.

That added dimension will always elevate your blog post, your PR.

The first thing that you need to do in writing a marketing article is to study your subject matter, or know your subject matter.

I've talked about two ideas here.

First in the research paper in which you study the subject matter.

This is the way you learn the science of Interent Marketing and add that extra dimension, as I'd mentioned.

The second idea, is to write about things in which you've significant knowledge.

There's actually a third piece, that would be things that interest you, that you enjoy.

Obviously,It helps if it is something about which you are passionate, missing passion you can still write to add value to your niche and to educate yourself.

In fact, you can take all the expensive IM training programs there are, and not come away with the knowledge you can acquire through a well researched article or blog.

This is how the most popular blogs, and article sites, become so popular, prevalent, with such high SERP rankings.

Recall, when writing a good marketing article , product review, or site review, you need to ask the questions that you would be asking if you were interested in the product , the service, or joining an MLM or another affiliate site.

The predominant concern is honesty and truthfulness about the product or opportunity.

You can discuss honesty and truthfulness within your topic;many IMers leave out the negatives,or mention what they know with a glance.

You can lose credibility with a fair and accurate discussion, and IMers will not take you seriously.

You must be you in the article, even to the detriment of not getting perfect punctuation, grammar, and use of language.

That's the most critical piece, honesty and being yourself.

Writing a blog or article is diametrically opposed to the hype, freebies, and other marketing incentives, that are an integral part of the landing page or sales page.

Realistic concerns are key as you look for questions that people really have.

This might require some research on your behalf, to find out the most asked questions if you aren't intimately familiar with the material.

An example is the IM site like Leads Leap.

This site can be confusing, so if you write a report on how it works, you'll have to study the organizational pieces, how credits works, how do all the pieces fit together that get you paid.

You also have to know how the advertising piece works.

LeadsLeap is, of course, a high Alexa site that'll bring you lots of International Leads,as it's located abroad.

You're addressing questions adequately, accurately and authoritatively, to the best of your knowledge.

If done correctly the inquirer will want to know more about the concern.

After the primary concern, the next goal of the article, is to get them to join a site under you, or have significant interest in a product or service.

Obviously, your article can have links directing the inquirer to a landing page or sales page, this is were marketing incentivization takes place.

Many blog writers use the pique-the-interest piece enough in which they can advise that to get further answers they'll need to click the link.

This is certaining ok, if you've completed your part of the bargain in writing the article

The beginning of the article has to make the inquirer want to read the rest of the article .

The end of the article basically, is a prompt to get get the reader to be interested enough to take further action.

You have to give them a reason to click the link to your offering.

Marketing 101 stresses telling the inquirer to follow the click through a call-to-action or CTA.

A CTA basically tells the person to go there;as it's more of a command than a request.

Inquirers want or need direction, as that's why they are reading your article in the first place.

The inquirer reading your article is interested in what you have to say about the product or opportunity.

Recall, your readers are excited because you are giving them what they want-relevant information about your niche.

Value-add information about something that they want or have much interest..

Remember, write article like you are talking as you naturally and instinctively talk everday.... to everybody.

This will tell people who you are, build your brand, and provoke interest in your opportunity.
