Wrong Orientation

A very successful lawyer parked his brand-new Lexus in front of his office, ready to show it off to his colleagues.

As he got out, a truck passed too close and completely tore off the door on the driver's side.

The lawyer immediately grabbed his cell phone, dialed 911, and within minutes a policeman pulled up.

Before the officer had a chance to ask any questions, the lawyer started screaming hysterically.

His Lexus, which he had just picked up the day before, was now completely ruined and would never be the same, no matter what the body shop did to it.

When the lawyer finally wound down from his ranting and raving, the officer shook his head in disgust and disbelief...

"I can't believe how materialistic you lawyers are," he said.

"You are so focused on your possessions that you don't notice anything else."

"How can you say such a thing?" asked the lawyer.

The cop replied, "Don't you know that your left arm is missing from the elbow down? It must have been torn off when the truck hit you."

"Oh my Gosh!" screamed the lawyer. "Where's my Rolex?"

Hang Tough,Never Panic

A business cycle is the natural rise and fall of your small online growth that occurs over time.

The cycle is a significant concept to keep in mind when your small business is down.

It will help you make better relevant financial decisions and keep you in a positive frame of mind.

If you have a financial advisor, or may have heard the edict, that you must stay in an opportunity through the highs and lows.

Basically, there are four inherent stages:expansion, peak, contraction and trough.

They are quite random however, they can have recognizable characteristics

Expansion is between the trough and the peak.

Obviously, expansion is when your small business is growing.
Expansion is healthy when in the 2-3 percent range.

Keep in mind, Unemployment is healthy at the rate of 4.5 to 5.0 percent. That may or may not be relevant.

A well-managed small online business can remain in the expansion phase quite a while.

But the inevitable dip will alway show itself . You just have to keep in mind that dips are as natural as expansion.

Sales people, that's the online marketer, knows this very well.
All of our SBOs will experience dips in their enterprise.

The peak is the second phase of the business cycle. It is when the expansion transitions into the contraction phase.

The third phase is contraction;it starts at the peak and ends at the trough.

Negativity can abound at the trough, unless you hold the wheel steady, and think that it's part of the natural business cycle.

The trough will vanish just as sure as the moon will complete it's cycle.

The trough is the fourth phase of the cycle.

The good thing about the trough is that at the end it transitions from the contraction phase back to the expansion phase.

Your Biz hits bottom and this can be scary without the knowledge that troughs always pass.

The business cycle's four phases can be disconcerting to the SBO, but it's always in your best interest to see it through.

Just as you see through your investments.

You now know that all SBOs go through troughs or dry periods ,if you will.

The key is to see it through.

Believe you can and you're halfway there. Theodore Roosevelt
