Ted's Great Birthday!

It was Friday night and Nancy took her husband, Ted, to their local steak house for his birthday.    In addition to treating Ted to the nicest restaurant in western Massachusetts, Nancy also surprised him with poka lessons, beginning tomorrow at 8PM.   Ted loves to play poka.   (in Massachusetts and much of New England, there are no Rs...mayor is pronounced maya, hair is haya, car is caa, and poker is poka).  

Ted thought about it and realized that some extra poka knowledge was just what he wanted and needed.  He would soon be able to crush his opponents at his local game.  Maybe he could even hit some of  the casinos and tournaments!  Nancy adds that she has enrolled both of them.   Ted did not realize that Nancy liked poka.  He did not know too many woman that played the game, but those that did were better than most men.   Ted could see it, he and Nancy would both be the top dogs at the poka game...perhaps in the poka world.   His birthday had turned out great!

At a little before 8 PM on the next night, Ted and Nancy showed up for poka lessons.  Ted sees a big open room, but no one has set up any poka tables or chairs. You probably have already figured this story out, so allow me to fill you in on Ted and Nancy's success.

Fast forwarding, six months later, Ted and Nancy have completed their first POLKA Competition, and they placed fourth!   Many more competitions will follow.

Business and Poka!

Business and poka are very similar.

One must pay their dues.
There is much to learn and the learning never stops.
Many new skills are required.  
Each new skill has be practiced and improved.
A competitive spirit is essential.
A winning attitude is a must.  
Confidence is needed.
Persistence and commitment are imperative.
Patience is the secret sauce.
People that win consistently in business or poker are considered to be LUCKY.  
Business and poker winners make their own luck (by adhering to the above).

My favorite free leads bonus:

Think about the traits that you want in those people that you sponsor.  Realtors qualify nicely.  Most people use google search, but I love Zillow for leads.

I use Zillow and literally DRAG AND DROP leads on to a spread sheet.  
I get about 115 leads in less than 15 minutes!  Real live quality leads with real numbers!

Go to,  hover over agent finder, click on Real Estate Agent.


Type in desired zip code and hit search.

You should get 25 pages, with 10 Realtors per page.
Reduce  screen size to 33%, to get all ten on page at same time.
I go to 66% and drag and drop 5 and then 5 more,
Open your spreadsheet, label it leads... Realtor leads,
drag and drop NAME ONLY onto spreadsheet.

When you are ready to call, click on name and web page will open with all the
details including phone #'s.  

The success rate of talking with these folks is nearly 100%!  

The usual objection is 'no time', I explain how my biz will save them time, which is true, and usually get about 50% to agree to an appointment for a presentation.
