What motivates folks?

People have reasons behind their actions.  Find the right reasons and you can get people to take action.  This is called "finding the HOT BUTTON, one of the basics of sales or motivation.  

In order to be successful in business, you want to learn the art of motivation.  You will find self motivation help in my previous IBO post.

You want to be able to motivate others for reasons such as joining you, visiting your website, or buying your product.  Your own motivation or reason may be to grow your business, grow your team and make money.

Your REAL personal motivation is how that growth and income will 'benefit' you and your family.  Pay bills, build for retirement, new car, vacation, college, new home, etc.  It is not the money, it is what the money can do, that matters.  

When it comes to motivating others, the same applies...It is not the money, it is what the money can do, that matters.  

 Motivation is based on the 'reasons' and the 'benefits' called feature/ benefits. Feature/ benefits  are how you can relate to (and motivate) your prospects, customers, visitors, employees, and/or enrollees.

Motivational secrets!

You can get people to do what you want.... by showing them why THEY WANT TO DO IT.   Think, how will they benefit?  

Pleasure, hope and acceptance are the primary motivators, but AVOIDANCE OF PAIN is the strongest.  

Motivation has little benefit if it does not generate action.  Create a sense of 'urgency' or 'loss'.

Identify the problem, provide a solution, ask for action, is the gist of a time tested motivational strategy.  This works well online as well as in person.   

To use this strategy online, base your ads, posts, and website around this simple strategy, which provides you with an easy outline that will drastically increase conversion rates!

A Personal TIP:

I learned these three steps as a teen that have stuck in my memory, are easy, and will help you with motivation.  

#1: Ho Hum    WAKE UP your reader, visitor, audience, etc. with an 'attention grabbing' statement or catchy headline or humor or question.
#2.  WBTU  (Why Bring That Up?)  Here is where you identify or further identify the problem and offer a solution.
#3.  So What!   Never forget your 'so what', which is your call to action.  Ask for the sale, the approval, the OK, the click through, the sign up, etc.

Using Ho Hum, WBTU, and So What for ads, posts, websites, blogs, etc. with the motivational secrets above will make a real difference!  If your Click Through Rates and Conversion Rates (problem) need a boost, try this simple trick (solution) today.

What problems will your product or opportunity solve?  Lets say you can list 5 or 10 or more, OK, go ahead and list them.  Your ad may look like this:

The above three lines are the nucleus for your online ad...there are tons of free ad sites that you can start with.  May I suggest that you strive to make each ad more and more creative.  

The above three lines are also the nucleus for your web pages, sales pages, and more.  Simply add content and embellish.  Use words like
"improve," "enhance," "expand," "enrich," "better," and "more."
