Gray Hat Traffic!??

Bud Abbott & Lou Costello | Who's On First  | 10,517,743 views on Youtube

Best Comedy Sketch Ever!

'Who's On First' is the name of one of the funniest comedy sketches ever!  Considered by Time to be the best comedy sketch of the 20th century, and considered by Gawker as the 2nd best comedy sketch of all time, Who's On First has proved to be a true classic and is still enjoyed by millions.   As you can see, it has whopping 10.5+ MILLION views on Youtube.  I have personally seen this sketch countless times and each time I see it, I am in stitches.  I love it, I hope you do too.  I opted to post the long version of this sketch, but it is so good that you will wish it were longer.

"Abbott: I'm not asking you--I'm telling you. Who is on first.

'Who's on First?' is a hilarious routine which was made famous by Abbott and Costello. The basis of the sketch is that Lou is identifying the players on a baseball team with some unusual names.

If you have never seen this sketch, this will help you to keep track of the players between your laughs.

Position Player's Name
1st Base Who
2nd Base What
3rd Base I Don't Know
Left Field Why
Center field Because
Pitcher Tomorrow
Catcher Today
Short Stop I Don't Care

At one point, Lou thinks that the 1st baseman's  name is Naturally

Abbott: You throw the ball to first base.
Costello: Then who gets it?
Abbott: Naturally.
Costello: Naturally.
Abbott: Now you've got it.
Costello: I throw the ball to Naturally.
Abbott: You don't! You throw it to Who!
Costello: Naturally.
Abbott: Well, that's it—say it that way.
Costello: That's what I said.
Abbott: You did not.
Costello: I said I throw the ball to Naturally.
Abbott: You don't! You throw it to Who!
Costello: Naturally.

The other greatest comedy sketch of all time is "The Parrot Sketch" or  "Dead Parrot sketch"  or originally known as the "Pet Shop Sketch" from Monty Python's Flying Circus.

The Parrot Sketch - Monty Python's The Flying Circus | 6,244,730 views

The Dead Parrot Sketch was written by John Cleese and Graham Chapman and performed by Cleese and Micheal Palin.  Cleese plays a dissatisfied customer and Palin plays the shopkeeper.  They argue over whether the parrot that Cleese purchased is dead or alive.  The sketch is full of side splitting British humor.

Gray Hat Traffic!?? - Traffic Siphoning!

Traffic siphoning is a traffic strategy in which you siphon traffic from a high traffic source of interest.  Highly visited videos are an excellent source and tend to sustain traffic.
Highly searched trends are another option.

Dead Paarrot Sketch Cleese and Pralin
Restin'  not dead  - from the Dead Parrot Sketch

How can you use this traffic siphoning strategy?

In my humble opinion, it is best to siphon off trends that RELATE to your site. can also STRETCH things a little.  HUH?   Be Creative.

Create a 'Humor Section'  in your forum.  If applicable, relate humor to your product or service.

Suggesting traffic strategies to you strictly for the sake of traffic only, is not great advice; but traffic does beget traffic.  In other words, do your best  to attract the search engines and siphon some of this high traffic, but not at the expense of your visitors.

My friends, I thank you for reading.  I wish you much traffic and much success.
