The Kids Voted For Pizza!

Betty loves to teach her kids lessons.  

Last week she taught them about two different kinds of government.  She let them vote as to what they should have for dinner...very democratic of Betty.  

The kids voted for pizza.  

She served her kids meatloaf, potatoes, and green beans.  She reminded them that they are not old enough for their votes to count.

She did console them by letting them know that her household was not a democracy anyway.  She informed them that it was a dictatorship, whatever the dictator says goes, and that she was the dictator.  

Nice lesson, Betty.

Betty wanted her kids to learn about shapes...like triangles, circles, and squares.  Betty and her kids made a batch of cookies cut into different shapes.  She made sure that each of her kids got to cut each of the shapes and that they repeated the name of the shape as they cut it out.  

When it came time for Betty's kid to have the cookies, they had to name the shape before they could eat it.  You'll be happy to know that everyone of her adorable and smart kids got every cookie right!  100% across the board.  

Well done, Betty.

Continuing from Part Five:  You want to show professionalism, but most of all you want to show....

You want to show that you CARE!  Most of the people that are visiting your diabetes website have diabetes or know someone that has.  If you make every effort to show that you care, your site will show it.  Before we get into the simple steps to help you make sales, allow me to touch upon a few loose ends.  

I mentioned in part five  that 'Supplementing For Diabetics' might be a nice choice for a seven dollar sale item, it is not.  It is for personal use only.  The Big Diabetes Lie (from Clickbank in part two) , however, provides you and I with a free ebook that we can 'give away'.  It is '7 Steps to Health and The Big Diabetes Lie'  (preview ebook).  We simply need to change the link at the end of the book to our CB link.  I also am changing the email address (see below).

I am taking care of these loose ends because when you are working with ebooks, you will need to know how to do the following and you will need these tools.  

You will need a pdf to word converter.  Most free editors and converters that I have tried are disappointing, with the exception of Able Word.    http://www.ableword.net/

Able Word can read and write
  • Microsoft Word® (doc, docx)
  • Adobe® PDF (pdf)
  • Rich Text (rtf)
  • Plain Text (txt)
  • HTML (html, htm)
You can use it as a PDF editor, but to change a link, you will need to import your PDF file, and convert to MS doc.  HUH?  The tool does the work for you and I.  Under file, top left, click Import PDF Text and then select the ebook.  Again go to File, top left, and click  save as, then use drop down to choose MS doc and save.  Then open the MSdoc file with Microsoft Word or Corel or Open Office (a free download) or similar software.  Click on  Insert (top left) and then Hyperlink, insert text and link.  I changed link and contact.  When done, go to file, save as, and choose pdf, I usually change name by adding 'revised' to the name, so I know which one is revised.

Notice that I used IBOURL for a shortened alias link.  When creating the alias link, I unticked all IBO page functions.  Your link looks better, and more importantly cannot be altered or bypassed.

So now we have the first of our free give aways, 7 Steps to Health and the Big Diabetes Lie which is also "BRANDED".  This means that you and I have included our links into this ebook with the seller's permission (and blessing).  In fact, The Big Diabetes Lie has the ebook for you to download and tells you to change the link.  This is all white hat!...honest and above board.  

In part seven, we will be setting up your email squeeze page,  creatively getting subscribers, and making your site a 'caring' site...a unique site that 'feels good' when diabetic visitors land.   You do not have to make your site different, but it seems that nearly all of our competition have cold sterile sites, perhaps you and I will find that different is not just unique but better.  

In addition, we are going to add in a few copywriting secrets to help you reach your financial objective.   Stay tuned, you are going to like what's ahead and you won't find these $$$$$ making $ecrets elsewhere.
