Best SINGLES Ad ever printed!

The following is supposedly true.  The way I understand it, the following ad was posted in the Atlanta Journal.


"Single Black Female seeks male companionship, ethnicity unimportant. I'm a very good girl who LOVES to play.... I love long walks in the woods, riding in your pickup truck, hunting, camping and fishing trips, cozy winter nights lying by the fire. 

Candlelight dinners will have me eating out of your hand. I'll be at the front door when you get home from work, wearing only what nature gave me. 

Call (404) 875-6420 and ask for DAISY. I'll be waiting."

According to the story, over 15,000 men found themselves talking to the Atlanta Humane Society!

Your Home Biz!

How we package or present our story, our product, our business, our service, etc. certainly has a huge impact on our response.  The above ad  is a superb example of 'appealing to our audience'.   

To appeal to your audience, think about what your visitors/prospects are looking for.  

Allow me to remind you that 

People Don't Buy Drills Because They Want Drills –
People Buy Drills Because They Want Holes.

Think about how your visitors can 'enjoy' the 'benefits' that they seek.  

Allow me to share a few tips to help you be a more creative writer and Internet marketer and earn more money while you learn!

  1. A: Action.  Begin at the end.  What is your 'call to action' going to be?  If your CTA is to make a purchase, then you want to create a 'sales page'...go to set 2.  If your CTA is to visit an affiliate's sales page, your goal is to 'identify the problem' and your CTA will be to 'solve' your visitor's problem...go to step 3.
  2. D: Desire. List the features and benefits.  Focusing on the benefits and putting yourself in your visitors shoes, relate to your guests how these benefits will help them (solve their problem).  
  3. D: Desire.  Determine the 'benefits' that your prospects are looking for as well and the obstacles that your prospect needs to overcome.  Relate to your prospect's needs and problem in a way that your prospect can relate to what you are saying while you 'identify the need'.
  4. I: Build interest.  What you are seeing is the AIDA formula backwards.  The AIDA formula is a simple and basic outline that ANYONE can follow.
  5. A:  Grab ATTENTION.  Every part of the sales process is important, but without an attention grabbing headline, your exercise in creative writing may never get read.
I often add an R to the AIDA copywriting formula to a sales page..  The R stands for Reassurance.  Reassurance can be testimonials, free trial, proof, warranty, satisfaction guarantee, money back guarantee, etc

Your call to action:   Make your call to action appear as the 'next step'.  Add urgency if it is a sales page. The most important thing about your call to action is to have one.  The following links can help:
