Is Your Home Biz Making Others Rich, Not You?

You will hear that it takes time to get your home biz going.  First a lesson about being poor.

Mr. Wallace Clemons, a wealthy man, took his son, Joseph, to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live.  Wallace arranged that his son spend a couple of days and nights on a farm owned by people who would be considered poor.

On Joseph's  return, Wallace asked his son, “How was your stay?”

“Great, Dad.”

“Did you get to see how poor people live?”

“I did.” said Joseph.

“What did you learn?”

Joseph responded, “I noticed that they had four dogs and we have one. We have a pool that stops at the edge of our garden and they have a creek with no end. We have about 50 lanterns and they have stars beyond number.  I saw that we have a small parcel of land and they have fields that go beyond sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, they grow theirs.

Wallace was speechless.

Then Joseph added, “Thank you Dad for showing me how poor we are.”

Is Your Home Biz Making Others Rich, Not You?

You and I have heard how it takes time to grow our biz, and that is true, but there is a reason why it takes time. It takes us time to learn.  The keyword is LEARN.  If you are not learning, you are not growing and your home business will not grow.  Of course you can outsource, but most of us are on a shoe string budget, so that is not an option.

Learning is a part of the process.  Earmark time for learning.  The more time, the better.  If you do not like learning, home biz may still work, just approach it as a 'doer'.   HUH?   Some of us may not be so fond of reading and studying, but nearly everyone can learn by 'doing'.

For you and your home biz to be successful, learning is a must.  I love to learn, but for those who do not,  learning can still be fun.  May I suggest that you put more accent on using 'doing' as a means to help you learn and grow.

Thank you for reading, my friends.  I wish you much success.
