Plumbers Have Pipe Dreams!

Raymond Carson is a hard working city lawyer.  Ray came home one late evening to find his basement flooded.  He called a local plumber who arrived soon after the call.  The plumber showed up with a extra set of overalls and a hat that said, "Plumbers Have Pipe Dreams".   Ray chuckled and told the plumber, "I like the hat.  You are the first plumber that I have seen that brings an extra set of work clothes."

The plumber went down to the basement, fixed the problem, and in less than half an hour returned upstairs.  "I am almost done. I will write you a bill and then go to my van for my big wrench to fininsh the job."  As he handed Ray the bill, the plumber continued, "I brought the extra set of clothes becuase I am looking for an assistant,"

Ray said that he did not know anyone that he could recommend.  Perhaps Ray felt a bit insulted when he added, "I am a lawyer.   How would I know anyone that would want to be a plumber?"  The plumber shrugged, went to his van, got the wrench, finished the job and went upstairs once more.

There was Ray, wearing the overalls and hat.  "I looked at your bill while you finished up" said Ray.  "You have found yourself a new assistant."

wish I had chance to prove money

Is it all about the money?

Yes and No!

If you are looking at a home business that is all about the money and nothing else, it is not for you.  As long as the remuneration is fair and competitve, the money is NOT the most important thing.  Quality and service are what matter in any business.  They will make or break your home biz.

With the right opportunity, when you work at your home biz, the money will happen.  Strive at doing your home biz well and better than most and even more money will happen.

Money is important but it needs to be secondary.  HUH?  Put your focus on the task at hand, that task being whatever it takes to build and grow your home business.  The rest will take care of itself.

Thank you for reading, my friends.  I wish you much success.
