You Have To ASK!

In sales, we need to ask for the sale.  On the Internet we also need to ask for the sale or click through, which is referred to as a 'Call To Action'.  You are about to discover how to maximize your benefits from a 'Resource Box'.

The Resource Box!

A resource box relates to Article Marketing.  Most Article Directories allow links in your Resource box. To take advantage, in your article and especially at the end of your article, you want to ASK or instruct your readers to visit your Resource Box.

Your resource box in Article Marketing is the most important part of your article.  Why?  It includes your call to action which is the whole reason for your article!   Personally, a go to the resource box for the rest of the story or the rest of the 'how to'  works very well.  For example, your articles is about the top ten...whatever about your product, company, service, etc.  FYI, top ten seems to get more visits.  List 7 or 8 in your article, withhold the top 2or 3.  Close your article by ASKING your visitors to go to your resource box for a link to what are considered the top 2 or 3.
Your Resource Box needs to include:

Your sales pitch (just a line or two about why your reader needs to click your link)
Your Call To Action (ask or tell your reader to visit, click, join, donate, subscribe, etc.)
Your name and/or company name (this should be the same name that goes on all emails)
Your link (if you use 'for the rest of  the story', make sure your landing page includes the missing part of your story, how to, top ten, etc.)

Advanced marketers may use a 'bridge page'.  Your link will be to a page which redirects to your final link after a short amount of time... the bridge page can include a very short excited video or textual information or instructions that your visitor may need.

HTML for redirect is: <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="30; url=next_page.html">
represents the number of seconds, you can change this number, of course.

I personally prefer to place a 'bridge page" with a short excited video which emphasizes the name of the sender, between sign up form and a success page..

Happy Thanksgiving!

The turkey is in the oven, the Thanksgiving day parade is on the TV, and family and football and feasting  and giving thanks are all part of this US holiday.  I had better not forget napping.  May your Thanksgiving be a happy one.

Traditionally cranberry sauce is served at the Thanksgiving meal.
Tommy, a five year old, informed his family at the Thanksgiving table that pirates and cranberry farmers have much in common.   Granddad took the bait.
"What do pirates and cranberry farmers have in common, Tommy?" asked Tommy's granddad.
"Pirates are known to bury their treasures." responded Tommy,
"Cranberry farmers treasure their berries."

“Thanksgiving dinners take 18 hours to prepare. They are consumed in 12 minutes. Half-times take 12 minutes. This is not coincidence.”—Erma Bombeck

“Vegetables are a must on a diet. I suggest carrot cake, zucchini bread, and pumpkin pie.”—Jim Davis.

What do you get when a turkey lays an egg on a hill?  An egg roll.

Thank you for reading, my friends.  I wish you much success and a Happy Thanksgiving!
