Part of the memorable lyrics of the Joni Mitchell song, Big Yellow Taxi, are:

"Don't it always seem to go, 

You don't know what you got till it's gone

paved paradise, put up a parking lot."

There is one thing, our good health, that most of us take for granted, and I am sure that we miss it when it is gone.  Since about 70% of the population is over weight, our 'good health' is more in jeopardy than ever.

If you have health problems,  if you seem to feel old or always tired, or if you need to lose some weight, please consider improving your eating and exercise habits and begin learning more about it.  Proper nutrition and exercise and mindset are the elixir for a long and healthy life.  Health problems, fatigue, or over weight are signs that you need to make some changes.  

Although it is never too late, there is no excuse to wait until your good health is gone.  

IN my opinion, an important part of your success includes your good health.  If good health is not yet part of your overall success plan, add it now.

Weight loss is broken because of what we do not know. 

How can we fix our weight loss dilemma when:

#1:  We are often not aware that we have a dilemma, in other words, we may not realize that weight loss is broken...weight loss plans blame us for weight loss failure when they simply omit needed information, help, strategies, secrets, and more.

Believe it or not, how we think and what we think will dictate our weight loss results.  Your mind, your mindset, your attitude, and your self esteem are just a few of the areas of weight loss that no one ever tells us about or teaches us about.  If you have failed or are failing at losing weight, you are not at fault.

Weight Loss Humor!

Joannie has been doing so good at losing weight.  She joined a local diet club about a month ago and has had a successful weigh in each Monday, until today.

"I know why I gained a few pounds." responded Joannie.

The tight knit group gathered close to hear why.  "I made my family their favorite cake for over  the weekend.  I served it to them Friday after dinner.  They loved it, but only ate half of the cake"

Joannie explained that she had not eaten any of the cake, not one bite, but when she was clearing the table she could not help staring at it.  Finally, she decided  to have a tiny slice before she put the cake away.

"One slice led to another and another.  Before I knew it, the uneaten half was gone." sighed Joannie.

Her diet club began to console Joannie by letting her know that everyone and anyone can have a lapse in willpower.  

"Was your husband mad when he found out?"  asked Millie, the head of the club.

"No," began Joannie, "He never found out.  I made sure of that."  

"I baked another cake, then I ate half."
