I created a video just recently which is meant to help marketers and small businesses get on YouTube with

Why creating video is so important is that over 50% of the people on the Internet are getting their information from video.  That number is rising and is expected to be near 80% in less than 2 years.

From a business point of view, making videos is already something that we should be doing and the need for us to begin is only going to increase.

BUT...There is a MAJOR ISSUE!
That MAJOR ISSUE is that very few of us seem to actually WANT to make videos.

Why Not?

The reasons for avoiding making videos are:
  • Time
  • Technology
  • Camera Shy
  • Fear

Let's consider each objection.

All of us are just too busy, right?   Of course, we are busy, but we stand to lose too much.  I think that most or all of us want more, not less.  I believe that most of us will do whatever is necessary to make our venture grow.  We seem to have no choice but to MAKE TIME.

Fortunately, today's technology has reached a point where video creation requires little to no technical skills.  Nearly all of us already have the equipment that we need and most of the equipment are as easy to operate as flipping a switch (the on button).  Editing and production are also covered with software that does all the work for us.

Camera Shy/Fearing Failure

As far as I can tell, being Camera Shy and Fearing Failure are the real reasons, the true objections to not wanting to make videos.  There is help for you below for each of these objections.

Fear of Failure

It is normal to fear change and to fear failure.  Believe it or not, at some point in your successful future, you will learn to embrace change and to embrace failure.  Failure is such a great teacher and both propel us forward.

you have to
be odd to be number one

For now, however, allow me to share that fear is

Although it is false since it 'appears' real. it is just as if it were real.  The good news is that FEAR is a coward.  I promise you, it will run and hide and eventually not even show up, when you face it.  One of the best methods that I know to face fear is the Do It Now, Count Down approach.  HUH?

I used this method, for example, for calling folks that I would rather not have to talk to.  Those calls were the FIRST ONES I made, and my countdown was 3, 2, 1, Do It NOW!

My brain never had time to come up with excuses and the calls were made and done and not a cloud hanging over my day.  Try my 3,2,1, Do It NOW, it works for me, I am sure it will help you.

Camera Shy

You can use the same 3,2,1, Do It NOW approach to overcome camera shyness and it will work, but how about we take one step at a time.

What if you could make your video without having to get in front of a camera?!!

You CAN and it is easy, it works, and the following video will show you how.

Seek, Do Not Find, and Then It Shows Up!

I made the video above a few days ago.  I wanted to also provide a voice over option other than fiverr or robot voice over.

Some folks do not want to be in front of a camera and do not want to speak as well.

And that is OK, but they still need to begin making videos and a lengthy video can get expensive for voice over, either robotic or human.  In addition, most robotic voice overs still sound very robotic.  They were great a few years ago, but now, not so much.

So, today, this morning, I discover a brand new voice over software that is the best that I have ever heard and it is cheap.  I sought, I did NOT find, and then it shows up at my doorstep!

If being in front of a camera is holding you back, the video will show you how easy it is to make videos and not be in front of a camera and if you do not wish to speak but want to add voice, check out WaveNetVocalizer.  You will be impressed at how good it is and at the low price.

FYI:  I could not find WaveNetVocalizer because it just launched yesterday.  Things has a way of working out.

Call Yourself To Action

Business is business, so if you are going to use the Internet, for your sake and your business's sake, use 100% of it and begin now.

Guess what!

You will soon discover that creating videos is fun, way easier than you thought, and it allows you to brand yourself and your business better than any other online method.

Money And Church!

A one dollar bill and a one hundred dollar bill are about to be retired.  They are old and worn but both have been around and strike up a conversation.

"I have had a good life," began the C Note, "I have been in some of the finest restaurants, the Caribbean,  I've been to Atlantic City, Vegas, and even Monte Carlo.

"That's an exciting life," said the dollar bill.

Tell me about some of the places that you have been," said the hundred.

I have been to the Catholic church, the Baptist church, Lutheran, and Methodist church,"
began the dollar.

"What is a church?" interrupted the hundred.
