I just saw a wild story about a guy who was sleeping
in his tent over the weekend in the Tonto National
Forest in Arizona and was woken up by a bear biting
his head and arm.
Another camper at a nearby campground ended up scaring
the bear away with his gun, and thankfully the guy who
got attacked is going to be ok.
There's actually been a rash of bear attacks around the
area lately, apparently due to the lack of food caused by
an ongoing 19 year drought.
Now, you may be wondering what this has to do with
Internet marketing...so stick with me for a second.
You see, the bears in that area are starting to get desperate
for food - just like a lot of new home business owners
get desperate for new leads to talk to about their business.

When bears or people get desperate, they start to do
unusual things to try to get the results they want.
Things like attacking people in tents while they sleep (this
could be the bear or an overzealous marketer handing out
sizzle cards in the woods) or bombarding any stranger who
comes within 3 feet of them with a pitch about their new
home business.
Unfortunately, I can't do anything to help the bears other
than hope for some rain sometime soon, but I can help a new
business owner who is struggling to attract a steady stream
of interested prospects to join their business.
