Pay per Click or Build Foundations?
This is a question I get asked about quite regularly from my new team members and prospective Internet Marketers Newbies.
My opinion on this is quite simple and not just aimed at Internet Marketing Newbies ...
When you first start out as a member of the Internet Marketing Newbies Club, you need to keep an eye on your expenditure, focus on your business structure and ensure you have a budget in place for the future.
Internet Marketing Newbies Steer Clear?
Now I am no way against Pay per Click (PPC) advertising ... whether that's on Google, Facebook, or any other site for that matter. I just think you should get a grip on your online business in the early stages to ensure it's longevity and increase the chance of building your own successful online business.
My main concern with people that do PPC from the off is this ...
If they haven't spent anytime working on other forms of promotion like ... article marketing, social media, video marketing and blog posting the foundations of their business are extremely weak!
Turn off the PPC (whether it was successful or not) and you have nothing left.
Build your business with a combination of foundation building strategies that provide you with new traffic and leads with some PPC (or progress onto PPC when you're ready) then you'll be well on your way to building your own successful on line business.

PPC (when done right) is a great way to generate leads, conversions and income faster than many other means of marketing; but it should be combined with foundation building strategies as well. When a strong foundation is in place, PPC can be used to make that foundation stronger which ultimately may result in less of a need to do as much PPC later. Continued blessings and success to you! |
