Why You Should Use Classified Ads

Why You Should Use Classified Ads

Why should you use classified ad sites? Well, for one thing, you can use most of them for free. But so are lots of of other advertising platforms, such as traffic exchanges and safe lists. But the people who will view your ads on those sites are doing it mostly to earn credits so they can promote the business they already are in.

Those who look at classified ads, on the other hand, don't earn any credits for doing so. The only reason they are looking at those ads is because they are actually looking for something they want to get. If you have a classified ad for a certain product or service then those who take the time to look at it are definitely real prospects who want to buy or sign-up for the kind of thing you offer.

Before you rush off and start using classified ad sites, I would like to add one word of caution. Some of them are getting very picky when it comes to what URL you use in the ads. If you are an affiliate of some company and you use a referral URL that is exactly the same (except for your ID) as thousands of other affiliates of that company, your ad may get deleted. Using one of the popular URL shorteners may not help because some classified ad sites don't care for those either.

How can you solve that problem? Well, the best way that I know of to do it is to have your own domain. You can get one for as little as 88 cents per year over at Or you can use any of the other providers of domain names. If you want a domain that ends in .com the price will be higher but still affordable. I got my domain for $10.89.

Once you have your own domain domain name, you can redirect it to whatever URL you want people to go to. I host my domain,, with AIOP, and although I don't redirect the domain itself to another site, I do create subdomains in my cPanet that I redirect to wherever website I want.

For example I made this one today, which redirects to a Classified Ad Submission service that can submit your classified ad to 550 classified ad sites, plus thousands of other websites. Now I can use that new subdomain URL wherever I like, including on classified ad sites, and the ad is not likely to be pulled.

I also took a way too long link that lets people download a PDF report “12 Tips To Help You Get More Sales From Your Classified Ads” and made a much shorter and more attractive subdomain link that redirects to it.

So by all means, use classified ad sites to reach more buyers for whatever you have to sell. And if you'd like to get that free report on "12 Tips To Help You Get More Sales From Your Classified Ads", just click the banner below to download it.
