Reach For A Better-Feeling Thought

Followers of Abraham-Hicks will immediately recognize this phrase.  Esther Hicks teaches that one of the keys to the law of attraction is to harbor thoughts that make you feel good. In this way, that which you want to manifest in your life materializes for you.  

Recently, I am also following the teachings of Dr. Joe Dispenza.  Last night I listened to an audio presentation of his wherein he talks about how most people do not understand how to manifest the things they want in their lives.  His explanation was that, if you hold on to emotions from your past that may have been associated with lack, you will prevent the manifestation of the things you now want in your life.


What you are effectively doing is hanging on to the emotions that are representative of your past.  Instead, you must generate the emotion that will be associated with what you want in your future.  That is to say, you must imagine your future.  The emotions you feel will be the emotions that will draw in the manifestation of what you want.  This is essentially the advice we get from Esther Hicks as well.  This is what she means when she tells us to reach for a "better feeling thought".  In other words, you must feel what you would feel if that which you want was already present in your life.


In your mind, live in the future.  Feel the emotion that you would feel if that which you want was already present in your life.  In so doing, you will attract that which you want into your life and you will be creating the life you were meant to live...successful, healthy and abundant and full of joy.
