The Opioid Crisis and CBD

The Opioid Crisis and CBD

The medical establishment in recent years has been accused of creating a crisis.  It is the opioid crisis.  Physicians have been, in some cases, indiscriminantly prescribing drugs like oxycontin to treat cases of chronic pain.  These drugs are highly addictive and, gradually, the body develops a tolerance to the drug and, correspondingly, the patient requires higher and higher doses of the drug to yield the same effect.  Often, the patient resorts to procurement of the drug off the street when the monthly prescription runs out.

CBD for pain?

Underdiagnosed and undertreated, chronic pain amounts to an unrecognized public health crisis afflicting more than 116 million adult Americans each year and costing the nation $560 billion to $635 billion annually in medical and economic expenses.” (Institute of Medicine report). This is not only an issue in the USA, but also in most western countries. Back, knee, joint… you name it – it hurts.

CBD oil is favored by many people who are trying to deal with pain as well as to reduce the intake of other forms of relief.

CBD as an alternative to reliance on opiods is viable and perhaps particularly for those who have sensitive jobs and are required to take drug tests, CBD Isolate oils are available in 500 and 1500 mg strengths. These oils are THC free!

Many of you will already have recognized the immense opportunity that CBD represents.  Will you be a part of it?  It is estimated that CBD represents a projected multi-billion dollar market.  Could this be your opportunity?  Click on the link below for more information.
