New Year, New Ideas, Fresh Start

This time of year, we're all being fed a constant stream of info about resolutions and making a fresh start.

"Today is the first day of the rest of your life" is one of the phrases we hear most often when being encouraged to keep trying and not give up.

At the risk of sounding like all the others, I'm writing this PR to say that all of this is true.

It all depends on you. So many of us worry what others will think each time we start a new venture.

Most of the people who poke fun or make negative comments about our new ideas or efforts are the ones who are doing nothing to improve their own lives.

I've learned to ignore them and to not even acknowledge the folks in my circle who love to push their negativity on others.

This way I don't have to decide on whether or not to let their words resonate with me.

The new year is a great time to reassess what about your business(es) is working for you, and what isn't.

Take stock in yourself and your daily activities so that you can eliminate which of them are not conducive to your major goals.

And finally, since no one wants to look as though they are jumping from one thing to the next, I just thought I’d point out the obvious…it is far worse to continue spending time on things that clearly don't work.

One of the hardest things to figure out is...Is it you, or is it the system? Do your research and due diligence, and see what percentage of success your system provides for others.

If others can prove that they’ve had success with it, then maybe it's you. Have you covered all your bases; meaning, have you communicated with prospects to the best of your abilities? If you can’t honestly answer yes to this question, then don't just write it off as a scam.

Do your best and move on if you don't get the results you've expected.

If you are ready to move on, or if you would just like to check out another business that may be a good fit for you,
