Topic: "Success Doesn't Happen Overnight"
Good Morning!
Let me tell you a short story...
In 1991, I was invited to a "Business Expo" where I was told "If I could follow directions" I would learn how to "earn.more.money" than I ever could make at my J.O.B. I was ready for a change and listened intently.
Here is what I wrote down:
1. Learn about your product or service (master it)
2. Promote your business (every chance you get)
3. Build a team and duplicate (help others)
Sounded simple to me.
I immediately got to work and followed these "3 Steps". Awhile later, I found myself on stage in front of 20,000+ people receiving a huge.bonus.check while my family and I were whisked away on a private cruise in the Mediterranean.
What did I learn along the way?
It's not all about the "Mo.ney" - the true wealth is:
1. The People you meet
2. The Skills you learn
3. The Rewards and Lifestyle Changes (from your hard work)
Was all of this done in 1 Day, 1 Week, 1 Month or 1 Year?
No.
It actually took me THREE (3) YEARS of business building to get to the "Top". Was it all worth it? Yes, but what was "Priceless" - was the knowledge I learned along the way.
Today, I am following the same pattern building my "Talk Fusion" business.
This week, I completed my first year of my five year plan. What are my results? (so far)

Everyday, I ask myself: "What will this chart look like at year 2, 3, 4 or 5?"
Is it worth it to work hard at a goal and then be richly rewarded?
Yes, of course.
This is why sometimes I "shake my head" at employees who think they can "throw.money" to start a business and then a short while later - they give up. (Next)
Note: I actually think if the "Business Entry Price" was 10 or 100 times higher (like a franchise) many people would think differently about their "Business Building Attitude". (Imagine paying 1,000,000.Dollars and then saying "I Quit" - this wouldn't happen.)
So what about you?
When you started, you made an agreement with your sponsor to be a partnership and build your business around the world. (This is why YOU selected THEM!)
You agreed to both "show up" everyday and focus on a common goal of being successful.
Ask Yourself:
+ Are you showing up (or are you a no-show)
+ Are you ACTIVELY building your business?
+ Are you mastering your business and teaching others? (Duplication)
Remember, work hard - a successful business happens over time!
