Since the advent of internet, it has brought a new wave of change into the lives of people. It created a new arena where people could spend their time and give themselves a different personality. The importance of having one’s presence online has further boosted the amount of time spent in the internet around the world.

However, the idea of digital wellness is one that is gradually coming into effect for the mental and emotional benefits of people. It however stresses upon the necessity of using technology by taking the needed precautions and making sure that anything portrayed is allowed. We cannot deny the fact that technology is now dominant in everyone’s lives and has given rise to improvements in medicine, business and other areas of human endeavor.  It has been so critical in reducing distances between people largely by making communication across physical barriers simpler. But as they say, the easy way out may not be the easiest way out.

The introduction of websites such as Twitter Facebook and Instagram  has indeed given all the young people an excellent opportunity to have an identity aside from their usual real selves. This is a place where they have the freedom to be anything they will like to be. It however, allows people to feel empowered in some ways. But taking the advantage of being behind the screen or taking whatever is presented on the screen is not good to one’s image. As a result this ideas of having a separate identity on the internet needs to be done with extreme carefulness.
