Numbers relating to the Laws of Nature

I have always been good with numbers. Math and Science came

easy to me in school. These days I find myself attracted to those

ancient ideas brought from the Tarot and Astrology. The origin of

those schools of thought are fundamentally based in numbers and

Numerology.

Most languages also have their origins in numbers. There is a system

that assigns each letter of the english language to a "root number".

The root numbers are 1 through 9 in the decimal (10 based) numeric

system.

Now, as an extension of this principle, each word or name will have

a root number that it is related to. As an example, the name "Art" will

have a root number of three. This follows the fact that "A" has a

number designation of 1, "B" is 2, "C" is 3, and so on throughout

the alphabet. After the first nine letters are reached, the 10th letter,

"J" is assigned the same designation as the first letter, "A", which

is 1.

In my example, then, "Art" has the corresponding values of 1(A),

9(R), and 2(T). When the sum of these numbers are added together,

the result is the number 12. And the root number of 12 is 1+2 or 3.

Now, the number 3 symbolizes the Trinity--- Father, Mother, and Son.

It is also the "vibratory effect" of the interaction of Numbers 1 and 2,

the fruit of their union.

In the Tarot, the number 3 relates to the "Empress", which is the

major Arcana Key #3. The meaning of the Tarot Key 3 parallels

a similar definition of that in Numerology. To follow the  Laws of

the Universe, as defined in the Tarot, Tarot Key 2, "The High Priestess",

symbolizes the virgin state of the cosmic subconscious, but the

Empress typifies the productive generative activities in the subconscious

after it has been impregnated by seed ideas from the self-conscious.

Returning to my example for the name "Art", therefore, when a person

identifies with that name as his common designation, then that person

will have an affinity not only to the number 3, but also have a deeper

relationship with the concept of the trinity and thereby the manifestation

of the Tarot Key 3, The Empress.

My fascination with these ancient ideas and concepts relates to my

life-long search for answers to the mystery of human behavior and

ultimate destiny. I believe that as I begin to understand the fundamental

laws of the universe, I will be more adept at applying these laws to

my day-to-day challenges. Also by understanding the distinction

between the material  and spiritual world in which we all reside, I will

be more effective in guiding my life towards my ultimate goal of

Peace, Prosperity and Fulfilment.
