"Is your job interfering with your week?"
Great headline, eh?
If you don't capture your prospect's imagination and attention with a great first sentence or headline ... you don't have a prospect.
Always think hard about what your first sentence will be. Your success depends on it.
Here's a few examples that I have gathered throughout the years:
* "Is your job interfering with your week?"
* "What if this email was an electronic pink slip?"
* "21 questions you must ask before applying for that dead-end job."
* "Raise your own children. Learn how to fire your babysitter."
* "How to call in WELL."
Starting to see the power?
Remember, first sentences are used by your competition. Everyone is competing for your prospect's money.
