Ever wonder what kinds of benefits there are from using Twitter? Here are some of my favorite benefits that I would like to share with you:
1. By using Twitter, it's easy to experience social networking. It's simple to use and it's a great place to start your social networking "career".
2. You are only allowed to post 140 characters at a time on Twitter, so you are forced to be creative in your writing and possibly become a better writer by getting your point across in few words.
3. You can easily stay in contact with people you care about and or chose to connect with in real time. Twitter makes it easy to "tweet" updates to those you want to get your message to quickly.
4. Twitter is a great place to meet new friends and associates that you have things in common with. You can do this just by setting up a brief profile.
5. Some people think that it is quicker than sending a text message and you can broadcast you message out to several people at a time or send a direct message to just a few people easily.
6. It's a great way to stay up to date on current events, what people are talking about, or even the best restaurant to eat at.
7. Best of all, it can create a lot of targeted traffic for your blog or website. You can easily tweet subject of your newest blog post or website update. Doing this kind of tweeting has a real viral effect and travel quickly.
