How to Get Selected as IBOtoolbox Featured Member of the Day

Over the past couple of weeks, I have been seeing a lot of comments and PRs about the mystery of becoming featured member of the day. While there are many ideas out there on how to achieve this award, I thought that it is time to set the record straight.

It seems that a lot of people think there is some kind of FMOTD committee who decides which member gets this honor - there isn't. Some members believe that IBO (admins, support, etc.) pick the FMOTD - they don't. And some think that the members decide or nominate their fellow members for FMOTD - they do not.

You all know what a sophisticated system IBO is, right? Well, the featured member of the day is automatically selected by the system! IBO admins or support do not have control over who is selected nor do fellow members. However, some of the things that the system looks for is 5-6 stars not dropping below 5, sharing on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin etc. Real comments, enrolling others, running ads, frequent logins and system use throughout the day - basically being extremely active on the platform and being consistent.

One last thing that I think needs to be cleared up. It does not matter how long you have been a member, the system can pick anyone as FMOTD, even if you have just joined IBO. And finally, members who have received this award are not eligible again for another 45 day period. So go out to the wall and participate consistently and you just might be chosen by the system as Featured Member of the Day! Go IBO!
