Personality Colours - Are you a Blue? Is your prospect a Blue? Does It Matter?

The four personality colours are Yellow, Blue, Green and Red. Today I want to focus on the Blues, the Expressive people! When you understand what Personality your prospect has, the better chance you have of bringing them into your business. Blue personalities make up 15% of the population. Their overall desire is "To Have a Good Time" You will find that about 75% of the people who look into Network Marketing are Blues. It won't take you long to realize when you are talking to a blue that this person is all about fun. If it is not fun, they won't be interested. A blue has high energy, is a convincing promoter, and is very creative. A blue is also enthusiastic and is eager to build their business. As long as they are having fun, of course. A blue's occupation maybe in Sales, Entertainment, or Public Speaking. Blues love to talk. When they talk, it will be loud and fast. Did I mention they love to talk? To go along with loud talking, they love loud clothes too. A blue likes to dress in stylish, flamboyant and very colourful clothes. He is the person in the airport standing in a Hawaiian shirt, with a gold necklace around his neck and a diamond ring on his finger. He uses a lot of hand and body movements and just seems to be excited about being there. You may think that he looks flashy - you are looking at a blue. Blues always see the big picture and are, without a doubt, the most creative people on earth. They are the life of the party. As mentioned, blues just want to have fun. There are a few flaws in a blue. They tend to exhibit poor follow-up, are disorganized and they talk too much. They have a tendency to exaggerate. A blue can create but he can't build it. More then likely he has never balanced a check book in his life. If you are mentoring to a blue you would have to coach him/her on being better organized. You will need to develop a system that will be fun in order to keep them better organized and improve their skills of follow-up. We all know that following up is key in building trust and building a business. If the person is not a social animal or doesn't need constant contact with people, you don't have a blue. Blues love to socialize, love being in a crowd, and, of course, love it when people listen to them. They talk loud to make sure you do listen! But that's okay - we love our blues. Remember a blue is a great promoter, is creative, enthusiastic and can be very convincing. This would be a person I would love to have in my company. How about you?
