What To Look For When Advertising Online

A little thought I had today I want to share with you.


It's about advertising online, and what some people may not be paying much attention to, and it then hurts them.


I'll explain more below.



Good Advertising Costs Money


An example would be paid advertising.


Why use it?


If you are paying for an ad to be posted onto a website or social media, you are shown on that particular platform.


If the members of the site or "non-incentivized" you can expect good results if your ad is built correctly.


Non-Incentivized people have no reward for clicking your ad, therefore the clicks will be low compared to the amount of people overall.


But, those few clicks are real, targeted and interested prospects.



What About Free Advertising?


Let's look at traffic exchanges.


If an exchange looks good because you only have to surf an ad for 3 seconds, remember that means YOUR AD as well will only be looked at for 3 seconds. That's not good for you.


If members are incentivized to click your ad, you will get a lot of clicks. For some people, they think "look at the clicks" but just clicks alone make no money.


Be careful when selecting free advertising, and watch for what others will be doing more than what you get for nothing.



The Best Advertising


I have found that having my own blog and website is BY FAR the best advertising.


I own it. 


I can advertise my blog, load it to sites, and chose the content on it.


It creates more engagement with prospects than anything else. Best part, is is very low cost. A small payment once a year to have basically free advertising for the rest of the year.


Consider using content on your own website and focus on building that blog.


I believe you will love the results as much as I have once you have committed to working a blog everyday for a long period of time.
