How To Defeat The Fear Of Calling Prospects

One of the biggest issues in the home based business industry, and may be the largest reason most people do not make much in this industry, is fear of calling prospects.

 

The one thing every top earner has in common, is they made a lot of phone calls.

 

Some top earners even say, it's not possible to have success in our industry without using a telephone. They may be right.

 

 

Why You Shouldn't Fear A Telephone

 

What could you be afraid of?

 

Rejection?

 

Rude people?

 

Not sure what to say if they answer?

 

These are typical reasons people will not pick up a phone, and have a fear of calling their prospects and leads.

 

So I decided to share the reason, or the way in which I see it, that helps me to pick up a phone, without even thinking much about it.

 

Just Looking - When I am calling leads or prospects, I am not looking to sign anyone up at all.

I do not care what comes out of the conversation, as I am not going to be addicted to the outcome.

 

Most people ARE NOT A GOOD FIT and we know that. So why even care if they are when you call them?

 

If you are "Just Looking" for the right person, rejection isn't possible.

 

Simply just look for people who you connect with. People who seem to enjoy talking to you as much as you enjoy talking to them. Simple, right?

 

Make A Lot Of Calls

 

By only looking for the right people and not trying to sign anyone up, you will be surprised at how fast you begin finding new people.

 

If a person is quick to ask you about working from home, don't just go into sales mode, ask them why they should qualify to be eligible to be on your team.

 

If you make a ton of calls, you WILL FIND the right people. This is how you build a team of others that will bring you the success you long for.

 

 

P.S If you are not sure who to call, try calling people who have been involved before or show interest in our industry. It will shorten the time needed and amount of calls big time!
