Inspiration for a new month

Don't start your day

At the beginning of a new month, it is always a good idea to pause for a moment in the middle of a busy life and consider if you are indeed moving in the right direction.

In my particular case, June has been a month of good fortune and business success.  Of course I am hoping that it will continue, but I can't sit idle and just rely on hopes. My thoughts today are for how I can sustain the success and improve on it.

I can also say thank you to the Universe.  I'm not a religious person and I don't have any illusions about a deity being involved but I do recognise that there may be energies beyond the ken of the human mind that might contribute.  When we, ourselves fix our minds on success, just perhaps those energies help bring it about. They do not come just for the asking though. I've worked hard for my success this last month, spending many hours on my PC and smartphone and contacting people who might be interested in the products and opportunity that I promote. Now I have to look at everything I do - here on IBO, Instagram and when I talk to people I have just met about what I do and who I am.

There have been emotional highs and lows. There have been things that have invaded my mind from the past that are hard to let go of.  I have a remarkably good relationship with both my ex's as friends, but I also have to accept that there can be no going back for second chances.

I have to be realistic that there are things that I can't do at 67 that I could even 10 years ago, activities that were the very core of my life, like going sailing. The very products that I am promoting may well help me regain some of my mobility. I have resolved to eat more healthily to try to prolong and improve my life. But I am not harbouring hopes of a total remission or recovery. That's hard to deal with.

What I have to be thankful for is that while I was involved with sailing, there are young people who learned through the training programmes I set up in the club I belonged to, who are now enjoying and progressing in their sport. There are other adults who took up the challenges of seeing that those activities continue into the future.

So, I have to find other fulfillments and ways to turn negative energies into positive ones. Gratitude is one way of doing that.  So this image is going to be something to turn to. I hope that it helps everyone who reads this PR.
