Should I Start A Business Or Stay At My Job?

A question I hear a lot is, “Johnny, should I start a business even if I’m happy at my job?”  And my honest answer might not be what you’re expecting.

You’re expecting me to tell you YES YES!  Join my business! Anyone can do it!  But that’s not my answer.

The fact is, it depends.

Realistically, I do believe that everyone should be building some type of home business on the side, whether or not you like your job.

However, it’s a commitment.  Unfortunately, not everyone is going to be willing to make that commitment.  If you start a home business with the mindset of “I’m going to try it for a few months to see if it works” then you’re not going to succeed.

In that case, you’re better off saving your time and energy and not even trying.

But if you ARE ready to make the long term commitment, then YES.  Whether or not you enjoy your job, it’s a great idea to be building a secondary income stream.

And a home business is the best way to do that.

The late Jim Rohn always said that he worked at his job full time, and he worked part time on building his fortune.

Because that’s what any business can do for you… it’s not really just a way to cover the mortgage payment next month or go on a vacation.  It’s a means to secure your financial future in a way that no job or social security ever could.

So to answer the question should I start a business, I created this video for you to outline why a business can provide the ultimate financial leverage.
