Learning to hit!
hitting, baseball, little league

 VISIT WEBSITE (learn more)

I am starting a new business and that is to teach little league players how to hit. I believe there is an opportunity to help young hitters to improve their skills while teaching their parents the same things. This allows parents to teach their kids how to hit as well and to be involved. They will be able to help them after their games. This is a chance to improve family life while improving at the game of baseball!

Some of the things that we will be working on is players feet, hips, and bat path. All too often young hitters "sweep" their swings through the hitting zone. That creates problems for them when they get older. We need to correct those bad habits right away. By teaching them how to spin on their back foot allows hitters to open up their hips and get their bat through the hitting zone.

Thanks Dean. Your correct, it is all about bat speed. I have 2 kids 6 and 8 and that is what all the drills we do are all about. However, if they don't spin right or their hands start in the wrong spot it won't allow for bat speed. Trying to reach these players that want to get better but their parents don't know how to teach it is what I am trying to do.

Great idea for a new business! My hitting improved dramatically when I went to a Boston Red Sox camp.I learned taht it's all about bat speed and keeping the arms close to the body. Good luck with your new business!
