Jim Drummond   My Press Releases

How do you do? My name is Sue!

This is to let everyone know that I have changed my name. When I first signed up,

I used my "legal" name, James. Since then, I have decided that since this is a

community, it is preferable for me to use my nickname. (Jim) My reasoning is very

simple. On the street, everyone who knows me, calls me Jim. I have been Jim, Jimmy,

Jim-Bo, or Jim-Bob my whole life. My brother and sisters have always called me Jimmy.

Therefore, their children have always called me Uncle Jimmy. No problem. For me, that

is a form of endearment, or familiar. If a person uses my legal name, James, it feels

stiff and formal to me. I much prefer using Jim as a name because it feels comfortable.

Of course, using any of the previous names will get a response. I'm just letting you

know that I prefer to use Jim.
Ok, now for the fun stuff. You are asking why I chose my title. I have not

mentioned Sue once. Some of you probably know that I like music. Seems like I've

always got a song playing in my head. This song has been in my head the past few

days, so I thought I would share. My title is a line from an old Johnny Cash song. I'm

sure many of the older people remember it. If you are in your thirties or younger, you

may not have a clue. So...if you would like to hear it, here it is!
