Was your new years resolution to quit smoking again?

Are you smoking now? If you are it is not your fault.

To quit smoking is one of the toughest to do.

Hi I am Jerome Williams a member of the Virtual Downline Builder,

and I am celebrating 2 years and 1 month without smoking one.

After almost 40 years of smoking and I cant tell you how many times I tried to quit,  but I finally did it cold turkey.

I am going to share with you how i did it and if you really wnat to quit good luck to you.

First lets look at some of my numbers. 

I smoked over 40 years of my life and lets just

say I averaged a pack a day for 365 days multipled

by 20 cigarettes time 40 years. That's a lot of smoke.

Okay now I spent most of my life in the south where smokes where a little cheaper than some places.

Just say that my smokes cost $6 a pack a

day 365 days x 40 years.  

Okay listen carefully this is how I quit  cold turkey.

It was Dec 31 2016 and I made made my resolution to quit.

I bought myself 2( loosies) that is a loose cigarette for those who do not know. I smoked one that night and then Iwent to church.

Sunday morning new years day i got up and jumped into my car.

As I drove away noing that i quit smoking I noticed in the seat was a cigarette the loosiy that I did not smoke.

It looked at me and I looked at it, It looked at me I looked at it.

Temptation won that time. Yeah I smoked it.

Now it is Monday and I realized that I lost again. I went without one up until 3 oclock that day. I stopped by the store and got me a loosy, I lite it up and as I looked at myself in the rear view mirrow I then asked myself when was I going to stop lying to myself.

I threw that cigarette out the window and have not smoked since.

Ok this is what I did next.

I had to find a way to eliminate my 1st cigarette of the day and when I did that I have not had one since.

This is how you are going to quit if you really want to.

1st you must find away to eliminate your 1st cigarette.

Anyway what is so good about smoking you don't get a buzz and you can't get drunk from smoking.

You must realize when you have the first one what is it.

#1 when you first get up

#2 your first trip to the bathroom

#3 your first cup of coffee

#4 after you eat breakfast

#5 your first tip outside

#6 getting in your car

There are so many reasons for that 1st cigarette and when you realize your reason just stop doing it because if you can stop the 1st it will never become a second.

Look at that person in the mirror and decide who is in control is it you are the cigarette.
