When I first got involved in network marketing I was excited as well as uncertain as to my ability to talk to people about my business.
I’m sure you have felt or feel the same way now. I know a lot network marketers are apprehensive about talking to people about their opportunity.
This apprehensiveness that is very common among network marketers have made it very easy for network marketing companies to promote their business by teaching the simplicity of promoting the opportunity without having to talk to people.
I personally know for a fact that if people were honest about what needs to be done to build a business more people would be successful today.
So here is what you need to be aware of and as a bases decide whether you are ready to become a network marketing professional because this is what we are talking about.
Understand that network marketing is not a hobby or a game that is supposed to be fun although you should enjoy doing it. It is hard work and requires commitment in developing yourself in to someone that people want to follow.
But in order to be followed you will have to be open to the idea and willing to follow someone else in order to get where you want to be. Think about it.
If there is someone who has been some where you have never been before wouldn’t you ask them how to get there? If not then network marketing is not for you. In fact I don’t know anyone who is successful in network marketing that didn’t follow someone who was successful before them.
So let the first things you do is find a mentor or mentors that will provide you with what you will need to become the network marketing professional others will want to follow.
